About me
I graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Baylor University in 2021. I received specialized training from Norman Fixel Neurological Institute in Gainesville, FL in Neurodegenerative Diseases including Parkinson’s and MS, Vestibular Disorders, Stroke, and Brain Injuries. My extensive experience in treating those with neurological conditions allow me to integrate a variety of techniques to adapt, modify, and individualize treatments for each unique patient. In my free time I love spending time playing with my nephew, reading, playing volleyball and anything out in the sun!
My approach to care
Every patient is unique and has experienced their own story and my goal as a PT is to act as your partner in your rehab journey. Patient’s know their own body better than anyone and as a clinician I am here to listen and guide you through the process with expert knowledge and patient centered goals. Through utilizing a multitude of techniques and interventions, I focus on maximizing function in everyday environments you have to navigate to re-build confidence in conquering your life.
What my clients can expect from our first session together
The initial evaluation will be the longest of all the sessions as I will gather in-depth medical history, get to know you on a personal level, your life, and your goals, and finally perform assessments to find areas of impairment and get down to the root problem. When selecting a therapist, building a foundation of trust and confidence is vital and that is what you can expect from me after our first visit.
How I see patients
Mobile Health: Traveling to patients at various locations, such as homes, gyms, or offices.
Telehealth: Providing virtual care via video calls for remote consultations and follow-ups.
