Hi, I’m Dylan McLean, a Physical Therapist with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from California Lutheran University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University. I’ve been a PT for four years and have worked with a wide range of people — from athletes and post-operative patients to those managing chronic pain. I became a PT because I love helping people understand their bodies, move with confidence, and get back to doing the things they enjoy. Outside of work, I enjoy lifting weights, golfing, snowboarding, and spending time with my wife and our dog.
I’m a licensed physical therapist with 3 years of experience, and a proud graduate of California State University, Northridge. I’ve worked across a wide range of populations including outpatient orthopedics, sports rehab, vestibular therapy, post-operative rehab, and geriatrics, which allows me to tailor care to each individual and their unique goals. Through my mobile physical therapy practice, I provide personalized, one-on-one treatment in the comfort of your home or preferred space. I believe physical therapy should be convenient, effective, and built around real life—not rushed clinic visits. When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my kids, golfing, or lifting weights—so I truly understand the importance of staying active and moving well at every stage of life.
I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in 2017. I am passionate about helping patients stay active, safe, and independent. I specialize in working with adults in their homes, focusing on helping individuals recover from injuries or surgery, improve strength, and enhance balance. My goal is to support each patient in safely returning to the activities that matter most to them. I believe that personalized, one-on-one care in the home environment leads to meaningful progress and an improved quality of life.
I have been a physical therapist for more than 17 years and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Master’s in Physical Therapy. My career has been spent primarily in outpatient orthopedics and chronic pain care, where I focus on a comprehensive, whole-person approach to treatment. I’m passionate about helping patients reduce pain, restore movement, and return to the activities that matter most to them. I enjoy partnering with each patient to understand their goals and create a plan that supports both recovery and long-term health. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, staying active in ministry, and taking advantage of all that San Diego has to offer.
