HealthSpark connects Medicare patients across greater Los Angeles with licensed physical therapists who treat them at home. Patients get outpatient physical therapy covered by Medicare Part B, with no homebound requirement. Physical therapists get patients, and we run their billing and back office. We're backed by Y Combinator.
As a Provider Partnerships Associate, you'll build the referral relationships that bring patients to us. This is a field-based role: most of your week is spent in person with primary care physicians, specialists, medical assistants, office managers, and home health agencies across Los Angeles, earning their trust and making it easy for them to refer patients who need physical therapy at home.
What you'll do
- Own and grow a referral territory across Los Angeles
- Visit physicians' offices, specialists, and home health agencies in person, most days of the week
- Prospect into new offices and start referral partnerships from scratch
- Grow referrals from existing partners through steady follow-up
- Teach offices what in-home outpatient physical therapy is, who qualifies, and how to refer
- Make sure partners hear back: plans of care and progress notes, faxed to their office
- Track your visits, relationships, and referrals
- Share what you learn in the field to help shape how we grow
About you
- Energized by meeting people and earning trust quickly
- Comfortable hearing "no" and following up anyway
- Self-driven and organized, with many relationships to keep track of
- Lives in Los Angeles, with reliable transportation
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare sales, physician liaison, or home health marketing
- Existing relationships with Los Angeles physicians' offices or home health agencies
- Familiarity with Medicare
