Is this covered by insurance?
Yes, for most plans. HealthSpark is in-network with Medicare, Blue Shield of California, Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, TRICARE, and more. We check your coverage before your first visit.
Do I have to pay anything?
HealthSpark is in-network with your insurance. Depending on your plan, you may be responsible for a copay, or for coinsurance until you meet your deductible. We check your benefits before your first visit.
How do I get started?
Click "Get started" to create your profile and share your insurance details. We’ll verify your coverage and match you with a licensed PT. Your first visit is usually within a few days.
How long are visits?
Your first visit, the evaluation, usually runs 45 minutes to an hour. Follow-up visits are usually 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your physical therapist and what you're working on.
When am I charged?
After your visit. Once your insurance processes the claim, we charge the card on file for any copay or coinsurance your plan applies.
Why do you need a card on file?
It covers any copay or coinsurance your plan applies after a visit, self-pay visits, and the fee for a missed or late-canceled visit.
What if you don't take my insurance?
If we're not in-network with your plan but you have out-of-network benefits, we can bill your plan directly or give you a superbill to submit yourself. You can also book a self-pay visit.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes. Add your HSA or FSA card as the card on file when you book.
What does a visit cost without insurance?
A self-pay visit is $125.
What happens if I cancel or miss a visit?
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead at no charge. Visits missed or canceled with less notice have a $75 fee.
