I’m a licensed physical therapist with 3 years of experience, and a proud graduate of California State University, Northridge. I’ve worked across a wide range of populations including outpatient orthopedics, sports rehab, vestibular therapy, post-operative rehab, and geriatrics, which allows me to tailor care to each individual and their unique goals. Through my mobile physical therapy practice, I provide personalized, one-on-one treatment in the comfort of your home or preferred space. I believe physical therapy should be convenient, effective, and built around real life—not rushed clinic visits. When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my kids, golfing, or lifting weights—so I truly understand the importance of staying active and moving well at every stage of life.

Looking for a physical therapist for joint stiffness near Ontario? HealthSpark connects patients in Ontario with licensed physical therapists who come to their home for outpatient physical therapy, covered by Medicare Part B and major insurers. No homebound requirement.
Joint stiffness is a reduction in the normal range of motion of a joint, often accompanied by discomfort or a feeling of tightness. It can affect any joint but is most common in the knees, hips, shoulders, and hands. Stiffness is often worse in the morning or after periods of inactivity. While it's a normal part of aging to some degree, significant stiffness that limits daily activities is treatable with the right approach.
Joint stiffness can result from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, prolonged inactivity, previous injuries, or post-surgical scarring. Deconditioning from a sedentary lifestyle is one of the most common and most reversible causes. Inflammation, fluid changes in the joint, and muscle tightness all contribute.
Evaluation at home. The first visit is a full evaluation in the patient's home. The physical therapist asks about the history and goals, watches how the patient moves in the rooms they live in, and builds a plan of care.
Treatment where it happens. Visits follow that plan: hands-on treatment where it helps, and exercises taught with the furniture, stairs, and floors the patient uses every day.
The doctor stays in the loop. The plan of care goes to the patient's doctor, with progress notes as therapy continues, and follow-up visits run until the goals in the plan are met.
Yes. One of our licensed physical therapists who treats joint stiffness visits homes in Ontario, along with nearby Chino, Montclair, and Upland. Visits are outpatient physical therapy, covered by Medicare Part B and major insurers, with no homebound requirement.
Not always. Stiffness can be caused by arthritis, but it can also result from inactivity, previous injuries, or muscle tightness. Your PT will help determine the cause.
The right exercises will improve stiffness, not worsen it. Your PT carefully selects and progresses exercises to avoid flare-ups.
