About me
I am a physical therapist from Thousand Oaks, California, dedicated to helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their movement. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from California Lutheran University and my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University. With experience working with athletes, post-operative patients—including ACL, knee, hip, back, shoulder, and ankle surgeries—and individuals managing chronic pain, I take a comprehensive approach to rehabilitation. My focus is on developing personalized treatment plans that not only aid recovery but also help prevent future injuries, allowing patients to return to the activities they love safely and confidently. Outside of the clinic, I stay active through weightlifting, golfing, and snowboarding. I also enjoy spending quality time with my wife and our dog. My goal is to provide expert care and education so my patients feel empowered throughout their recovery journey.
My approach to care
My approach to physical therapy is rooted in movement and education. I take an exercise-focused approach, using education, activity management, and targeted exercise to help my patients regain function, build pain resiliency, and become self-independent in their recovery. Rather than just treating symptoms, I emphasize long-term solutions that empower patients to take control of their health and movement. Every treatment plan is individualized, ensuring that exercises and strategies align with each patient's goals, lifestyle, and recovery needs. Whether you're returning to sport, recovering from surgery, or managing chronic pain, my goal is to equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to move confidently and stay active for the long run.
What my clients can expect from our first session together
During your initial evaluation, my goal is to ensure you leave with clarity, confidence, and a plan. You’ll gain a clear understanding of what’s happening with your body, including what’s causing your pain and how we can begin addressing it. I’ll also take the time to clear up any misconceptions or misinformation you may have heard—even from well-meaning sources like friends, family, or doctors—so you can move forward with the right knowledge. Together, we’ll develop a personalized plan to help you manage your pain in a way that works best for you. By the end of your first session, you’ll not only have a roadmap for your recovery, but also the confidence that you can and will get better.
