About me

Hi, I’m Miranda from Tarpon Springs, FL! I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University, where I built a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, differential diagnosis, rehabilitation techniques, leadership, and clinical reasoning. I love that PT blends science and art, especially the meaningful relationships and trust built with patients. For the past year, I’ve worked at Select Medical PT, treating a diverse range of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, older adults regaining independence, individuals with neurological conditions, pediatric patients with postural asymmetries, and those with vestibular disorders like BPPV. Outside of work, I enjoy exercising, traveling, reading, baking sweets, and spending time with family and friends—it all keeps me energized and balanced!

My approach to care

I believe in a patient-centered, holistic approach that treats the whole person, not just the condition. My goal is to empower patients with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to take an active role in their recovery. I integrate evidence-based manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, functional training, and lifestyle modifications to create personalized treatment plans that address both physical and psychological factors. Beyond recovery, I strive to help individuals prevent future injuries and enhance their overall quality of life.

What my clients can expect from our first session together

My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. We’ll start with a detailed discussion of their medical history, current concerns, and personal goals. Through guided movement assessments and functional tests, I’ll help pinpoint the root cause(s) of their symptoms. By the end of the session, clients will have a better understanding of their condition, a personalized treatment plan, and practical strategies they can implement immediately. Most importantly, they’ll leave feeling empowered, supported, and confident in their recovery journey.
