I'm a physical therapist with 7 years of experience specializing in general orthopedics rehabilitation. I received my DPT from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences and I am passionate about helping patients regain lost function, get stronger after injuries and understanding their bodies to get back to doing what they love. I have a strong background in exercise, collegiate track and field, volleyball and yoga. When I'm not in the clinic, you'll find me hiking, boxing, doing yoga and taking dance classes. As a former collegiate athlete and a PT who has gone through rehabilitation post ACL tear, I understand and try to incorporate tailored treatment plans that align with each patient's lifestyle and goals.

El Segundo, greater Los Angeles
Looking for a physical therapist for post-surgical recovery near El Segundo? HealthSpark connects patients in El Segundo with licensed physical therapists who come to their home for outpatient physical therapy, covered by Medicare Part B and major insurers. No homebound requirement.
Post-surgical rehabilitation is the process of restoring strength, range of motion, and function after an orthopedic procedure. Common surgeries that require PT include knee replacements, hip replacements, ACL reconstructions, rotator cuff repairs, spinal surgeries, and arthroscopic procedures. The quality of your rehab directly impacts your surgical outcome — starting PT early and staying consistent makes a significant difference.
Post-surgical limitations are a normal part of the healing process. Tissue needs time to repair, swelling needs to resolve, and muscles that were inactive during recovery need to be rebuilt. Without structured rehabilitation, scar tissue can limit range of motion, muscles can atrophy, and compensatory patterns can develop that cause new problems.
Evaluation at home. The first visit is a full evaluation in the patient's home. The physical therapist asks about the history and goals, watches how the patient moves in the rooms they live in, and builds a plan of care.
Treatment where it happens. Visits follow that plan: hands-on treatment where it helps, and exercises taught with the furniture, stairs, and floors the patient uses every day.
The doctor stays in the loop. The plan of care goes to the patient's doctor, with progress notes as therapy continues, and follow-up visits run until the goals in the plan are met.
